Mohammed Saif Al-Gusaier was appointed President & CEO, Vela International Marine Limited in May 2009 and has 38 years experience in various organizations within Saudi Aramco.

He was appointed Vice President, Saudi Aramco in May 2001, and this was the position he held until his recent appointment.

Al-Gusaier is a Chemical Engineer with a wide range of industry experience in engineering, maintenance and the operation of oil and gas facilities. His background also includes utilities and power generation, terminaling and product distribution.

He has five children, two boys and three girls, and enjoys reading and socializing.
